Analysis

The European supply diversification policy has led the EU-27 to seek new sources of natural gas. Imports have been stopped from Iran but there is strong growth in LNG imports from Peru (+225%) and Algeria (+42%). Russia remains the largest exporter of natural gas to Europe despite a 19% decrease.
