Analysis
The commissioning of new LNG carriers remains high, although decreasing, with 35 new vessels in 2020.
The average capacity of LNG carriers is maintained at around 171 000 bm3 in 2020, This corresponds to the authorised limit of the Panama Canal since its enlargement.
